Overview
Are you interested in food, nutrition and health, and looking to develop your care and compassion skills in a role supporting patients who are at risk of malnutrition? You may want to join our Dietetic team based in Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. This is a permanent role over 25 hours per week, with work pattern to be discussed at interview and spread over 5 days. You will work with Dietitians and other health and care professionals to support the delivery of nutritional care to adult inpatients. Confidence speaking to people in person and on the telephone will be an asset. A good level of numeracy and literacy is needed for simple weight-loss calculations, writing in case notes, and communicating via email. You will be supported in your training and development with regular supervision from the Dietitians.
