About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for you to contribute as part of a dynamic team of staff delivering to a growing number of Further Education students across a range of conservation and wildlife courses within the Further Education Conservation department. Within this varied role you will be required to teach theory and practical sessions to students aged 16+, supporting all learners in the development of not only curriculum knowledge but wider skills to aid employability. This is a full‑time role subject to a successful probation period.
Responsibilities
 * Deliver high quality teaching of conservation and wildlife concepts, including theory and practical sessions.
 * Develop and maintain engaging curriculum and assessment materials.
 * Support learners in developing employability skills and broader knowledge.
 * Collaborate with colleagues across the department to enhance teaching delivery.
Qualifications
 * Experience of lecturing at Further Education or similar settings.
 * Level 2 GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
 * Two A levels or a vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
 * In‑depth knowledge of conservation and wildlife topics, such as ecology, habitat management for woodland, grassland and aquatics.
 * Experience within a similar role or in industry with up‑to‑date technical knowledge is advantageous.
