Two roles available, North Yorkshire and East Riding or South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. The roles are full-time and permanent, working 36 hours per week with some flexibility and weekend working, as well as regular travel to sites in the area.

Responsibilities
* Grow our volunteering and community engagement programme through a range of activities, partnerships and volunteering opportunities in the north region.
* Lead and develop initiatives that foster strong connections between sites and local communities.
* Develop and deliver engagement programmes and recruit and manage volunteer teams to create engaging and relevant experiences for visitors, including under-represented audiences and local communities.
* Support operational site management of free-to-enter and guided-tour sites, including health and safety considerations.
* Manage formalised partnerships (such as Local Management Agreements) and foster in-kind support and community fundraising to enhance visitor experiences and financial sustainability.
About You / Qualifications
* Relevant experience of managing a diverse volunteering programme - ideally across multiple sites.
* Experience of working with a range of people from the local community.
* A track record of working with external partners and community stakeholders.
* Experience of devising and delivering activities, events, and outreach to new audiences.
