SEND Teaching Assistant (Morning Only)
Location: Kirklees Area
Contract: Temporary – January to Easter
Hours: Mornings only (Monday–Friday)
We are seeking a caring, reliable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a school within the Kirklees area.
The role will involve:
Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEND
Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Assisting with classroom activities and routines during morning sessionsThe ideal candidate will have:
Experience working with children with SEND (school or similar setting)
A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Relevant TA or SEND qualifications (desirable but not essential)This role is mornings only, making it ideal for those seeking part-time work. The position runs from January until Easter, with the possibility of extension.
