We are seeking an experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Adults Mental Health Team in Knowsley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a supportive and multi-disciplinary environment, providing person-centred interventions to adults with mental health needs.
The successful candidate will work closely with health professionals, community partners, and service users to deliver high-quality care, promote recovery, and safeguard vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake Care Act assessments, support planning, and reviews.
Carry out safeguarding enquiries in line with statutory duties.
Complete Mental Capacity Act assessments and apply Best Interests principles.
Work in partnership with NHS colleagues and mental health services to support recovery and independence.
Manage a caseload effectively, maintaining accurate and timely records.
Requirements
Registered with Social Work England.
Experience working in adult mental health or a similar statutory setting.
Good knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent assessment, communication, and multi-agency collaboration skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Additional Information
Pay rate: £32 per hour
Location: Knowsley
Contract: Full-time, ongoing assignment
Hybrid working may be available depending on service requirements
