Senior / Associate Civil Engineer – Water (Non-Infrastructure)
Location: 100% Remote from home or Hybrid in London or Birmingham
Salary: Senior £45k–£65k | Associate £60k–£81k + benefits
A fast-growing water consultancy is making a strategic hire. They want an experienced Senior Civil Engineer ready to step up, or an established Associate who wants more autonomy, quicker progression, and direct access to decision-makers.
If you’re tired of bureaucracy, boxed-in scopes or slow promotions — this is a chance to lead delivery, shape projects, and take technical ownership.
What you’ll lead
* Civil design for WwTW, WTP and non-infrastructure schemes
* Technical governance, QA and sign-off (Associate level)
* Mentoring and developing engineers across the team
* Multi-discipline coordination with MEICA, structural and process teams
* Feasibility, outline/detailed design and construction support
* Client meetings, workshops and influencing project direction
* Input into bids, proposals and wider business planning
What you’ll bring
* Chartered or working towards (ICE/IStructE/CIWEM)
* 6–15 years’ UK water-sector experience
* Strong background in non-infrastructure civils
* Confidence to lead, challenge and improve design delivery
