The Role
To coach and mentor a range of learners studying Electrical apprenticeships, supporting them on a one‑to‑one basis, ensuring attendance and progress, preparing portfolios for their End Point Assessment, reviewing workplace safety and progress, and promoting training to employers.
Responsibilities
* Support learners on a one‑to‑one basis and work with teaching staff to ensure attendance and appropriate progress.
* Assist learners in compiling a portfolio of evidence for their End Point Assessment.
* Conduct reviews with learners and employers in the workplace to confirm safety and progress.
* Prepare learners for their End Point Assessment.
* Seek new business opportunities and promote training to employers.
* Support apprentices using varied learning methods to facilitate achievement.
* Complete sign‑ups and audit requirements.
* Identify individual training needs and organise training to meet outcomes within defined timescales.
* Motivate and inspire employees to raise aspirations, promote effort, maintain momentum, and encourage progression.
Pre‑employment Checks
All posts are subject to standard pre‑employment checks, including evidence of right to work in the UK, proof of identity, at least two professional referees covering a five‑year period, a health declaration for any conditions or disabilities, and an online search in keeping with the 2023 Guidance on Keeping Children Safe in Education.
