A welcoming and high-achieving Catholic primary school in Northwood, Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026. This is a full-time maternity cover role for the entire academic year through to July 2027.

The Role
As a Reception Teacher, you will:
* Lead a Reception class in line with the EYFS framework
* Deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences
* Support early development in communication, language, and social skills
* Deliver high-quality phonics teaching (Little Wandle experience desirable)
* Work closely with a full-time Teaching Assistant
* Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress
* Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within Early Years (Reception desirable)
* A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
* Experience delivering phonics, ideally using Little Wandle
* A nurturing, proactive, and enthusiastic teaching style
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* A willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school
