About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to support the leadership team in the day-to-day management of the nursery. This is a full-time, year-round position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible shifts between 8:00am and 6:00pm. Key Responsibilities Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children, staff, parents, and visitors at all times Support the Nursery Manager in meeting all statutory requirements of the EYFS framework Oversee the administration of medication and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date Ensure stimulating, purposeful environments and resources that support children’s development Inspire and motivate staff to achieve high-quality and, where possible, outstanding practice Promote professionalism, consistency, and credibility through effective leadership and communication Maintain accurate records relating to children and staff using the EyMan system and physical files Support the smooth operational running of the nursery Undertake additional duties as required to support the nursery and leadership team This job description is not exhaustive and may be amended to reflect the needs of the business.
