Contempee is a fast growing home interior brands, with our luxury faux flowers now featured in over 400,000 homes worldwide. We are a digitally native brand with growth driven primarily through performance marketing, creative testing and strong retention marketing. We are now looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing to take ownership of our marketing function and lead the next stage of growth.
The Role
This role will own the day-to-day marketing performance of the business, while also building out the marketing team. You will be responsible for managing and improving the performance of our core marketing channels including paid social and email marketing. This role is suited to someone who has experience both hands-on managing performance marketing channels as well as leading and developing marketing teams within a fast growing ecommerce business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Operations
* Oversee day-to-day marketing operations across all channels
* Ensure launches, promotions and campaigns are executed correctly
* Maintain marketing dashboards and performance reporting
* Lead weekly marketing performance reviews
Paid Media
* Manage and optimise paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok and Google Ads
* Structure campaigns, audiences and budgets to achieve profitable growth
* Analyse performance across key metrics including ROAS, MER, CAC, CPC, CPM and CVR
* Work closely with creative strategists to test new creative concepts
* Continuously improve campaign performance through structured testing
Creative Strategy & Testing
* Lead the creative testing framework across paid channels
* Work with our editors and creative strategists to produce high-performing ad creatives
* Analyse performance data to identify winning creative concepts
* Scale winning creatives and iterate quickly
* Collaborate with our content creators to achieve high quality creative.
* Arrange location shoots for upcoming product launches
Email & Retention Marketing
* Own the email marketing calendar and campaigns using Klaviyo
* Optimise and expand lifecycle flows
* Improve retention, segmentation and overall email revenue performance
Team Development
You will oversee, hire and develop the marketing team, including managing roles such as:
* Email Marketing Manager
* Creative Strategists & Editors
You will implement systems and processes to scale the marketing function effectively.
Platform Experience Required
Candidates must have hands-on experience with:
* Meta Ads Manager
* TikTok Ads
* Klaviyo
* Shopify
* Figma
* Google Analytics / GA4
* Marketing dashboards and reporting tools
* Experience with UGC sourcing and creative testing frameworks is highly desirable.
Experience Required
* 4+ years experience in DTC / ecommerce marketing
* Proven experience managing paid social campaigns with significant spend
* Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics
* Experience managing or mentoring marketing team members
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.
