Summary PET-Xi is an award winning, National Training Provider based in Coventry. We deliver inspirational and motivational, fast-paced revision programmes, adult learning and Business to Business training. This position is offered on a sub-contracted basis and the work is nationwide. Support Trainer We are expanding our business and as a result we are looking to recruit a highly motivated, inspirational person with a proactive attitude, who loves meeting and working with new people, to join our Xi Training Team as a Support Trainer. This role will be working with either schools students, adult students or both. Summary of duties for the role: • Building rapport with our learners • Motivating and building confidence in learners • Working as part of a team • Supporting learners with their work • Staying alert and attentive to learners’ needs at all times • Drawing out ideas and starting discussions when learners go to task • Marking learners work REQUIREMENTS Essential Experience and Skills: • Professionalism is essential • Excellent timekeeping • A pro-active attitude • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team • Excellent people skills • Confidence to support any learner and break barriers to learning • A clear understanding of safeguarding expectations and professional boundaries • A commitment to training and professional development Preferred experience: • Four GCSE’s grade C or above • Previous experience in education and training is preferable, but not essential as training will be provided • Full UK Driving Licence is advantageous, but not essential to the role • Strong IT skills BENEFITS We offer an excellent rate for this role of £70 per day, along with additional company benefits, including travel expenses, accommodation and subsistence when applicable, career progression, training and development opportunities, incentives and an excellent working environment. A standard day is 08.00am – 4:00pm, with occasional requirement to attend training courses ad-hoc outside of these hours, depending on business needs.
