The Role
As a Womenswear Designer, you will drive the creative development of casual jersey ranges.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing commercial womenswear (and some girlswear) jersey collections inspired by up‑to‑date trend research
* Creating accurate technical specs and supporting factories through the sampling process
* Managing critical paths and seasonal calendars to ensure timely delivery
* Producing high‑quality CADs and presenting concepts directly to buyers
What We’re Looking For — Essential Criteria (the must haves)
* Recent, proven experience designing young womenswear jersey product for a UK high street supplier
* Confidence presenting collections to buyers and key accounts
* Managing less experienced team members
* Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and visual
* Strong commercial awareness and a sharp eye on high street trends
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: organised, adaptable, and collaborative
* London-based and fully eligible to work in the UK
