The Role Working as part of the Kitchen Team, this position requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness. The Chef de Partie plays a vital role in assisting in the daily operations managing their own section of the kitchen and providing a positive dining experience for our guests. Role Specification Assisting with the daily operations of the kitchen Assisting the Head Chef in liaising regularly with all suppliers Assisting with the ordering and ensure that sufficient stock is maintained Ensuring all food served in the restaurant is at the standard required Ensuring all related food hygiene regulations are followed by yourself and the kitchen team Promoting and maintaining a high level of hygiene in the kitchen using cleaning schedules Ensuring efficient delegation of kitchen duties between kitchen team Maintaining a positive professional atmosphere throughout the kitchen area; lead by example and assisting where help is needed Helping to train, supervise and motivate the kitchen team Personal Specification Essentials Have previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry Hold a Level 2 Food Safety certificate Have a good understanding of food hygiene and quality standards Have the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Have an excellent knowledge of Health & Safety and be able to use all relevant guidelines Desirables Have experience with large volume covers Have good interpersonal and communication skills Have Food Safety Training Additional Information 45 hours per week 5 days out of 7 per week Typical shift patterns: 08:00 – 17:30 and 13:30 – 23:00 Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business Please note that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
