Job Description
3. Provide comprehensive legal advice to stakeholders across the business.
4. Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial contracts.
5. Manage legal risks and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
6. Participate in strategic decision-making at the senior management level.
7. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
8. Handle dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.
9. Liaise with external counsel as necessary.
10. Provide training to the business on legal matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Legal Counsel should have:
11. A degree in Law and a valid practising certificate.
12. A solid background in commercial law, preferably within the IT/Software industry.
13. Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
14. Strong legal risk management and compliance skills.
15. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
