Aspire People are seeking a motivated Computer Science Teacher to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Shrewsbury for a January start. The school is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can teach KS3 and KS4 Computer Science, helping to inspire the next generation of tech innovators.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT with a passion for computing and a strong ability to deliver engaging lessons that support the school's growing Computer Science department. The role can be 4 or 5 days per week, providing flexibility to suit the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Teach Computer Science at KS3 and KS4 (potentially KS5 for a suitably qualified candidate)
* Deliver high‑quality lessons that engage students and develop their computing skills
* Support students through exam preparation and coursework
* Collaborate with the department to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
Qualifications
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (for ECTs)
* Have experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS4
* Be passionate about computing and technology, with a desire to inspire students
* Be able to create engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all studentsBe reliable, organised, and able to contribute to the school's wider community
