SourceCo Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator for a long-standing client in Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Transport or Freight Forwarding who thrives in a high pressure, solutions driven environment.
Working Hours
19:00 07:00am Tuesday to Friday
This role will include some weekend work
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and tracking UK and European shipments
- Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
- Obtaining transport quotations and providing logistics solutions
- Coordinating road freight and air freight movements
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams
- Monitoring KPIs and ensuring jobs are completed accurately and on time
- Managing shipment documentation, PODs, and system updates
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience within Transport Planning, Logistics Coordination, or Freight Forwarding
- European transport planning experience is essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
