Job summary Manchester Local Care Organisation are looking to recruit dynamic, motivated nurses to undertake the 12-month rotational Apprenticeship Specialist Community Public Health: School Nursing Qualification. Salary will be on a Band 5, though the Manchester School Health Service may be able to support staff to remain on their existing pay points.Studies will be undertaken at Manchester Metropolitan University for 50% of the course and the remaining 50% in practice. You will be employed on a fixed-term contract for the duration of the course.Successful applicants will complete an individualised learning programme which will be documented in their Personal Portfolio of Learning. The University's award will be a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Nursing therefore studying at Level 7. The professional qualification will be registered on the NMC Professional Register.Applicants need 120 academic credits at Level 6 for MSc or should demonstrate the ability to study independently at Level 7.
