Commercial Manager - Automotive We are currently recruiting a Commercial Manager for a long-standing client to support their Bus divisions. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of the back-end sales support function and tendering experience. Key duties: In collaboration with the sales and marketing function, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for coordinating the sales back-office teams, leading them in the successful and accurate preparation of customer quotes, tenders and sales support documentation Responsibility for ensuring the accurate maintenance of standard quote and tender templates, including the base pricing, key commercial content and coordinating internally to ensure that all costings are up to date, in collaboration with the finance function and the business lines. Support the creation of winning tenders through full bid lifecycle from Bid/No-Bid business case through to customer negotiation and contract award, in coordination with the sales and commercial support organization of each business line Weekly commercial planning meeting coordination internally to ensure tenders and quotes are completed on time and in full alignment with the groups commercial policies for terms and conditions and the defined financial goals. Review the commercial processes and update as required, in coordination with the leadership team. When required, support pre and post key bid submission negotiations with the sales teams and the client encompassing technical, financial, legal and commercial considerations, and act as an escalation point of contact in relation to bids.
