Our Legal Services Clientare currently seeking a head of court protection for their headoffices in Birkenhead.
**JobPurpose:**
To lead theprofessional Court of Protection team (professional deputyship andtrusteeship) ensuring delivery of highquality service to clients.Responsible for legal training supervision operational performancefinancial targets business development and case intake for thedepartment. Contribute to the firms overallsuccess.
**KeyResponsibilities:**
**PerformanceManagement**
Ensure professionalstandards of work by the Court of Protection team through regularfile reviews
Provide case supervisionadvice and guidance to fee earners on technical/professionalmatters
Devise and implementstructured training programs to maintain teamknowledge
Create/maintain bestpractice templates letters and ensureimplementation
Conduct performanceappraisals set objectives/targets for theteam
Contribute to maintaining Lexcelaccreditation
**Risk andCompliance**
Manage HighRisk Register for Court of Protectionmatters
Supervise antimoneylaundering due diligence and authorize highriskmatters
Investigate allegations ofprofessional negligence and report toMD
Investigate and report potentialdata protection breaches
EnsureLexcel case management system and proceduralcompliance
Assist Finance Managerwith regulatory compliance foraccounts/transactions
**ClientManagement**
Devise andimplement strategies for efficient case management fee recovery andclient service
Investigate clientcomplaints report to MD and draft responses perprocedures
Develop and maintainstrong relationships with clients andstakeholders
**Skills andQualifications:**
Expertisein Court of Protection law andpractice
Excellent leadershiptraining and supervisory skills
Strong communication and client relationship managementabilities
Proficiency in using firmssystems software and operatingindependently
**AdditionalInformation:**
This rolerequires producing own work with minimal administrative support.Proficiency in using computer systems and software is essential.Regular reporting to the ManagingDirector.
