Duties:
* Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
* Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
* Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
* Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols
* Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities
* Collaborate with management and employees to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
* Experience conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of accidents or incidents
* Proficient in first aid techniques and emergency response procedures
* Excellent report writing skills to document safety incidents, inspections, and training activities
* Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on safety protocols and procedures
* Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions
* Construction Background/experience needed for this role
