As a new nurse, you'll be enrolled in our 12-month Preceptorship Academy, providing expert support, training, and supervision to help you transition from academic knowledge to real-world practice. In your role, you'll work 37.5 hours per week (12-hour shifts) at Thornford Park, supporting individuals with mental health conditions on their recovery journey to lead fulfilling, independent lives. No two days are the same, offering variety, routine, and a supportive team environment.

Where you'll be working:
Thornford Park, Crookham Hill, Thatcham, Berkshire, RG19 8ET. The facility includes medium and low secure units and rehabilitation flats, supporting patients with mental illness, complex care needs, or personality disorders, some with histories of offending or previous placement failures.
