We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn, contributing to various concrete-related tasks on-site. This role involves physical labour and requires the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Open cast moulds, removing concrete products, cleaning, oiling and putting in suitable reinforcing before pouring and vibrating fresh concrete, using hand and power tools.
Responsibilities
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Wear the appropriate PPE (supplied) including the wearing of steel top capped boots, hi viz jacket, and using dust masks and ear defenders where necessary.
* Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and safety measures.
* Collaborate with team members to complete tasks according to project timelines.
* Perform site clean-up and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist in the preparation of concrete mixes and materials for various construction products.
* To follow instructions as to the daily production of specific items as required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
* Capable of meeting the physical demands of the job as some heavy lifting involved either in pairs or solely smaller cast concrete products.
