Are you an organised, compassionate and proactive administrator looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and supportive environment?

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Wellbeing Administrator to join our dedicated team.


About the Role

As part of the Occupational Health Department, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce. You’ll provide professional administrative support, co-ordinate clinics and appointments, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the smooth running of our wellbeing services.

This is a varied and rewarding role where discretion, empathy and efficiency are key. You’ll be working closely with clinical professionals and service providers to deliver a high-quality, confidential service that supports our operational teams.


Key Responsibilities

* Co-ordinate and manage administrative functions using systems such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Agresso and Your HR.
* Arrange and support weekly clinics, including appointment scheduling and case file management.
* Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
* Liaise with managers regarding medical outcomes, ensuring compliance with clinical information legislation.
* Support wellbeing initiatives, including critical incident debriefs and wellbeing support groups.
* Assist with financial duties such as budget monitoring, invoice processing, and requisitions.
* Uphold confidentiality, health and safety standards and equality principles.

Key Requirements

* Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Ability to work independently and use initiative.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience handling sensitive information with discretion.
* Proficiency in using ICT systems and managing data.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Experience in financial administration and supervising small teams.

Working Conditions

This role involves significant use of computers, face-to-face contact with staff and occasional exposure to emotionally demanding situations. You’ll be expected to uphold Warwickshire County Council’s health and safety policies and core code of ethics.
