About the Opportunity
We have exciting opportunities to join the Nuclear Power EC&I team based in Knutsford, Gloucester, and Warrington, helping our clients deliver the UK’s Net Zero targets.
We are looking for adaptable and organized Electrical Engineers and Control & Instrument Engineers at any stage of their careers to join the team.
We focus on providing support to the existing nuclear generation fleet, nuclear new build, and future reactor designs, but we also support EC&I activities across the whole Jacobs business. During your career with us, you will:
1. Be part of the nuclear energy strategy in the UK to help achieve the net zero carbon goals
2. Build knowledge and experience in the EC&I discipline

When you join the team, your role will include:
1. A variety of work and clients – working with multiple clients in the Nuclear sector and beyond
2. Client exposure – interacting directly with key clients and their responsible engineers
3. Research – solving complex problems for existing and new nuclear stations
4. Design – developing engineering solutions to meet clients’ needs

Here's What You'll Need:
* Hold a relevant engineering Degree/HNC/Chartership in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
* Be adaptable and able to transfer existing skills onto new problems, ideally from a design background
* Be organized and able to work on multiple projects
* Have a passion for solving engineering design problems using CAD software
* Due to the nature of work to be undertaken, applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance
