Project Manager – Drylining & SFS

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects specialising in drylining, suspended ceilings, and SFS framing systems. You will manage projects from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget.
Key responsibilities
* Manage drylining, suspended ceiling, and SFS packages on multiple projects
* Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors
* Produce and manage project programmes and short-term lookaheads
* Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and regulations
* Monitor costs, variations, and commercial performance
* Liaise with main contractors, site managers, clients, and design teams
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and site procedures
* Attend site meetings and provide regular progress reports
* Manage snagging, QA, and final handover
About you
* Proven experience managing drylining, SFS, and ceiling packages
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Experience managing site teams and subcontract labour
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
Essential
* Background in drylining / suspended ceilings / SFS
* SMSTS
* CSCS (Manager or Professional level)
* Full UK driving licence
Desirable
* First Aid at Work
* Experience on commercial or high-rise projects
* Relevant construction qualification
