We're looking for an organised and proactive Office Manager & Operations Administrator to keep our office running smoothly and support our international programmes. This varied role covers office management, compliance, administration, and logistical support.
What you'll do:
* Oversee daily office operations, suppliers, contracts, and health & safety.
* Act as first point of contact for donors, suppliers, and external partners.
* Support organisational policies (safeguarding, procurement, data protection, H&S).
* Ensure compliance with Charity Commission, donor guidelines, and GDPR.
* Provide travel, logistics, and procurement support to field teams and humanitarian deployments.
* Maintain accurate records for audits, reporting, and board meetings.
* Support senior management with admin, policies, and finance (invoices, purchase orders, expenses).
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience in office management, operations, or administration.
* Strong organisational skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, Zoom).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Desirable skills & experience:
* Experience supporting overseas field operations or humanitarian programmes.
* Familiarity with donor compliance (FCDO, EU, UN, major trusts/foundations).
* Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management practices.
* Understanding of compliance requirements in the charity/humanitarian sector.
