Role Overview
As a Growth Development Lead, you will play a dual role: driving high-impact lead generation as an individual contributor while also leading and mentoring a team of Growth Development Representatives (GDRs). You will be responsible for identifying and engaging new business opportunities, introducing the business as a trusted advisor. You will also oversee the performance and development of the GDR team. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping a high-performing, metrics-driven culture that supports commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership s Team Development
* Lead, coach, and develop the GDR team to exceed lead generation targets.
* Set clear expectations, provide feedback, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
* Align team goals with broader commercial strategies in collaboration with the Director of Growth.
Lead Generation s Campaign Execution
* Personally engage high-potential accounts aligned with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
* Design and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, social).
* Oversee targeted campaigns for new and existing customers, leveraging marketing signals and intent data.
Pipeline s Qualification
* Build and maintain a strong personal pipeline through meetings with key decision-makers.
* Guide the team in conducting effective qualification calls to assess prospects needs and buying intent.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads to Account Managers and New Business sellers.
* Act as a liaison between the GDR team and other commercial functions to maintain alignment and momentum.
Innovation s Best Practice Sharing
* Champion experimentation with tools, messaging, and outreach strategies.
* Share successful approaches and contribute to the evolution of the company’s growth playbook.
Renumeration
Salary: £35-38k plus commission OTE £56-60k but uncapped
Commission: Achievement based on the following key success criteria.
