Warehouse Supervisor Permanent Position Salary: £45,000 Rotating Shifts: Week 1: 6:00am - 4:00pm Week 2: 7:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution operation on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated supervisor with strong warehouse, production, and despatch experience to lead daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time. The Role As Warehouse Supervisor, you will take responsibility for the end-to-end performance of the despatch and production operation. You will oversee operational activities across production, picking, checking, consigning, and despatch while ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are consistently achieved. You will provide day-to-day leadership to warehouse operatives, coordinate resources effectively, and support the smooth flow of products through the operation. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily warehouse and despatch operations Ensure productivity and output targets are achieved Coordinate production and despatch activities to maintain workflow efficiency Oversee accurate picking, checking, and loading of orders Ensure all consignments, labels, and documentation are completed correctly Coordinate trailer and distributor requirements to meet customer deadlines Monitor compliance with health & safety procedures and PPE requirements Ensure machinery checks, maintenance activities, and FLT inspections are completed Maintain high housekeeping and workplace organisation standards Conduct team briefings and support employee development and training Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation Act as the first point of escalation for operational or quality issues Skills & Experience Required Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment Strong leadership and team coordination skills Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities Experience working within fast-paced warehouse or production operations Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Basic computer literacy for operational documentation and tracking FLT experience would be advantageous What's on Offer Permanent full-time position Competitive salary of £45,000 Monday to Friday working pattern Stable and growing business environment Opportunity to contribute to operational improvements and team development To apply or find out more, please submit your CV today.
