A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie to join a prestigious French Renaissance-style country house and major National Trust property, blending historical grandeur with cultural heritage.
This full-time role offers a salary of £12.50 per hour plus a share of the discretionary service charge for a 48-hour work week and benefits.
As a Chef de Partie, you will be producing and presenting high-standard dishes while supporting the efficient running of a designated kitchen section.
You will be responsible for:
1. Preparing and cooking dishes in line with established menus and presentation standards.
2. Managing a specific section during service, ensuring ingredients, tools, and equipment are ready.
3. Supporting the Head and Sous Chefs with day-to-day kitchen operations.
4. Upholding consistency, flavour, and visual appeal across all dishes leaving your section.
5. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in line with food safety and health guidelines.
6. Mentoring junior team members and contributing to their development.
7. Assisting with stock control, minimising waste, and supporting supplier liaison.
8. Sharing ideas for seasonal menu development and dish enhancements.
What we are looking for:
* Previously worked as a Chef de Partie, CDP, Line Chef, Line Cook, Chef, Prep Cook, Prep Chef or in a similar role.
* Ideally have experience within a fine dining or 2 AA Rosette restaurant.
* Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
* Strong culinary skills and confidence working independently on a section.
* Attention to detail in both preparation and plate presentation.
* Right to work in the UK.
