Assistant Director For Asset Management & Property needed in Gloucester, £659.53 per day PAYE - Reference: 5291316 This role is a senior leadership post reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive & Executive Director of Corporate Resources and forms a key part of strategic leadership in capital, property governance and transformation. AMPS contributes directly to the Strategy by ensuring the estate is safe, sustainable, financially efficient, and capable of supporting high quality service delivery. The role provides expert advice to Cabinet, CLT and Members, enabling evidence based decisions on investment, risk, disposals, acquisitions and long term planning. The post holder is responsible for significant capital and revenue budgets relating to the management, maintenance, compliance and development of the Client's estate. This includes oversight of facilities management budgets, planned and reactive maintenance, lifecycle investment, and capital programme allocations. They influence and assure multimillion pound capital schemes annually and contribute directly to MTFS delivery through capital receipts, prudent investment, and cost-effective estate management.
