We are seeking to appoint a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to support the learning journey of all children within the Additionally Resourced Provision, working with children with complex learning needs. As a Specialist Learning Support Assistant, your role will involve:
* Working with skilled teachers to support the delivery of high-quality classroom practice
* Supporting the learning journey of children with a range of complex needs including Autism, speech and language and early play skills.
* Delivering agreed Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, SCERTS, ELKAN and other programmes
* Contributing to creating a positive, inclusive learning environment
What we are looking for:
* Ideal candidates will bring a positive, flexible attitude and be adaptable to work across different areas of the school as needed
* A good standard of literacy and numeracy to effectively support teaching and learning in the classroom
* We value team players who show initiative, build strong relationships with pupils, families and colleagues and contribute positively to the wider school community
* We highly desire candidates with:
* Previous experience working with children across the primary age range is highly desirable.
* NVQ Level 3 is also desirable
* Relevant experience of working with children with SEND such as: Autism, developmental delay and other SEND across the primary age range and supporting sensory regulation difficulties
* Experience of delivering agreed Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, SCERTS, ELKAN and other programmes

Salary range: BR5 (dependent on experience) £19,070 - £20,226 (FTE £24,608 - £26,100)
