Production Operative - Specials Department
Location: Almondsbury, Bristol (BS32)
Pay Rate: £13.76 - £15.82 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Reporting to: Specials Manager

Gi Group is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer of innovative clay and concrete building products. We are seeking Production Operatives to join the Specials Team at the Almondsbury site.
This is a hands-on, physically demanding role where you'll play a key part in producing bespoke building products. If you're reliable, proactive, and looking for a long-term opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Be Doing:
Hand-crafting formed blocks to meet customer specifications
Transferring wet clay onto stillages
Building precise brick firing stacks
Sorting fired bricks into packs for customer orders
Maintaining high standards of health & safety and housekeeping
What We're Looking For:
Excellent timekeeping and attendance
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong awareness of health & safety
Willingness to learn and operate manufacturing equipment
Own transport is essential
Desirable:
Experience in a continuous improvement environment
Counterbalance FLT licence
Relevant training or upskilling qualifications
Working Hours:
Training Period (12-16 weeks):
Mon-Thu: 7:30am - 4:00pm
Fri: 7:30am - 3:00pm
Post-Training Shift Pattern:
5 on / 5 off - 5:00am to 5:00pm (Day shifts only)
4 on / 4 off - 5:00am to 5:00pm (Day shifts only)
