SLC now have an exciting opportunity for a MI Analyst to join our Data CoE team within the wider Change & Data directorate. In this role, you will play a crucial role in shaping data-driven decision-making within the Data Centre of Excellence, reporting to the Repayment Performance Manager. You will transform complex data into meaningful insights by delivering reports, dashboards, and responding to ad-hoc requests—helping drive strategic business direction. Working closely with key KPIs and user requirements, you will ensure that reports and dashboards are not just accurate, but impactful—turning raw data into actionable intelligence that adds business value. By leveraging advanced tools and techniques in data analysis and visualisation, you will empower stakeholders with the insights they need to make informed decisions. You will also uphold best practices in data analysis, working within established frameworks to maintain consistency, precision, and clarity in every aspect of your work—ensuring excellent communication and high-quality deliverables across SLC. SLC offer a blended working model which will typically be 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. What you bring: Demonstrable experience developing dashboards, reports and data outputs (with tools such as tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel) that provide clear insights and recommendations based on the data, including tracking the value of those insights and recommendations. Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and vice versa. Demonstrable experience providing insight through strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. Skills to transform raw data into meaningful visual insights that ensure clarity and accessibility for stakeholders. Analytical capabilities to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights that support business objectives, improve performance and optimise processes. Knowledge of techniques like SQL to extract and manipulate data for analysis, ideally with experience in ETL or other methods for data sourcing and creation.
