We have an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual to join our Esher team as an Electrical and Mechanical Technician. Your role will be to perform a range of front-line maintenance and operational activities on sewage pumping stations in the Esher, Surrey area.
This includes planned and preventative maintenance to support asset operation. You will receive your workload daily and respond to emergency alarms. You will work both as part of a team and independently, emphasizing high health and safety standards.
The role requires participation in a 1-week out-of-hours emergency standby rota every 6 weeks, with additional pay. The base location is Esher, Surrey, KT10 8AU. The working hours are 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 3:36 pm.
Requirements
* Time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems in a multi-skilled capacity.
* ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G Level 3 in mechanical engineering.
* Experience in maintaining, testing, installing, and fault diagnosis on electrical plant equipment.
* Knowledge of health and safety standards and confined space work (training provided).
* Valid driving license; all necessary equipment provided.
