Job Opportunity: Dispute Resolution Solicitor – 2+ PQE
Location: Glasgow
Overview: A growing Dispute Resolution team is seeking a Solicitor with 2+ PQE to handle a varied caseload of commercial disputes and represent clients in courts across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers, develop your advocacy skills and progress within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
Role Requirements: • Managing a mixed caseload of commercial and civil disputes • Representing clients in the Sheriff Courts, Court of Session and other forums • Preparing pleadings, taking statements and instructing experts • Handling tribunal, arbitration and mediation work where required • Working collaboratively with partners, senior solicitors and trainees • Supporting business development and contributing to team growth
Experience: • 2+ years’ PQE within dispute resolution or litigation • Confident communicator with ability to manage cases independently • Skilled in drafting, organisation and client engagement • Proactive approach with a positive, solutions-focused mindset
Skills: • Excellent advocacy and communication skills • Organisational abilities and attention to detail • Client-centred, team-oriented and adaptable • Ability to build relationships at all levels
