Job Description
Your influential mission. You will be...
2. Brainstorming new game ideas and evaluating feasibility.
3. Creating spreadsheets and bespoke tools to model the maths for these games.
4. Collaborate with the developers to ensure that the maths models are correctly implemented and debugging any errors.
5. Creatively balancing the games to provide good gameplay experiences, to create profitable and successful slots, and to categorise and verify the maths.
6. Playing and researching games, reporting on current trends.
7. Liaising with maths providers within internal companies.
8. Representing the mathematical creation and output for Psiclone games to various external companies and internal Playtech sister companies.
9. Researching and analysing successful slot games, features and balances, to make data-driven decisions.
10. Reviewing existing models and adapting these for specific markets.
11. Producing documentation detailing the implementation and theory of the models.
12. Drawing conclusions from historical statistical analysis on slot statistics, profits, rankings and player behaviour.
Qualifications

13. Bachelor’s Degree in Maths, Computer Science, or related field
14. Proficiency with Excel formulas
15. Good knowledge of probability and statistical modelling
16. The ability to produce and maintain technical documents
17. The ability to clearly communicate concepts and methods
18. Critical thinking and attention to detail

19. Experience with a programming language (C++/C#…)
20. Knowledge of Excel VBA
21. Familiarity with Monte Carlo methods and Markov Chains
22. Experience in statistical data analysis
23. An interest in gambling (slots or table games) or prior experience in the gambling industry
