Peter’s Yard is a growing sourdough bakery that combines Swedish tradition with British craftsmanship to produce hand‑baked sourdough crackers. Founded in 2008 and acquired by Lotus Bakeries in 2022, the brand supplies to major grocery and specialty outlets across the UK.
Peter’s Yard is looking for an Out‑of‑Home National Account Manager to join our high‑performing sales team and help drive the next stage of growth. The role focuses on key major multiple accounts and reports to the Head of Sales.
Responsibilities
* Devises and delivers exceptional business plans with key Foodservice and Specialist customers, ensuring sales of our products are maximised at key trading periods.
* Win new business through the channel with wholesalers and end‑users that showcase the quality and premium positioning of the Peter’s Yard brand and support the push‑pull strategy.
* Own and manage P&L, forecasting of assigned accounts and deliver value, volume and GP% metrics.
* Build cross‑functional relationships with key customer contacts across buying, supply chain, category & format teams.
* Collaborate with the Category Manager to deliver insights that drive significant business benefit.
* Enhance visibility and penetration through channel activations such as POS, online & in‑store displays.
* Utilise customer systems to maximise sales, influence availability, ensure compliance and manage promotions.

Profile
* Right‑to‑work in the UK without sponsorship.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
* Strong experience in the Foodservice & Specialist channel with a proven track record of supporting growth.
* Results‑driven – demonstrable examples of strong, tangible business outcomes led personally in customer accounts.
* Resilient and tenacious – able to navigate tough buyers and complex negotiations.
* Analytical – comfortable with data‑driven insights across accounts.
* Relationship builder – personable and collaborative, able to secure outcomes for Peter’s Yard responsibly and naturally.
