MCS Group is looking for a Data Engineer / Analytics Developer to join a growing team delivering data, reporting and automation solutions that support operational and business decision-making. This is a hands-on role for a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer who enjoys working across data engineering, analytics and process automation. You'll collaborate with a range of business and technical stakeholders, helping to improve the flow, quality and accessibility of data while delivering solutions that drive efficiency and insight.The Role Build and maintain data pipelines and integration processesDevelop and optimise data solutions using Python, SQL and SnowflakeSupport reporting, analytics and dashboard developmentDesign and implement automation solutions using the Microsoft Power PlatformWork with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into practical solutionsMonitor data quality, troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiativesContribute to documentation, governance and best practice across the data landscapeThe Person Mid-Level or Senior level experience in a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar roleStrong hands-on experience with Python, SQL and SnowflakeExperience with Power BI, Power Apps and Power AutomateUnderstanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT processes and data quality principlesExperience working with large datasets and business-critical reportingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilitiesExperience working with Salesforce or other CRM platforms - is desirable Location: County Antrim (On-Site 5 days per Week) Contract: 12-Month Temporary Contract (PAYE) Salary: Equivalent to £57,000+ per annumTo speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up-to-date CV via the link provided or contact Jill Johnston, Head of IT Contracts, at MCS Group Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
