An established and high-performing home care provider in Croydon and Sutton is looking for an experienced and proactive Registered Care Manager to join their leadership team.
This is not a start-up. The service is already delivering well over 100 hours of care per week and holds a GOOD rating across all areas of its most recent CQC inspection. With a strong foundation and a collaborative team already in place, the focus is now on growth, quality, and taking the service to the next level.
The right Registered Care Manager will be stepping into a hands-on leadership role, with full operational responsibility and the support of a dedicated team including Care Coordinators, Field Care Supervisors, and a Director.
About the Role:
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service
* Oversee care planning, assessments, and quality assurance
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
* Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and internal standards
* Play an active role in business development by increasing care hours
* Participate in the on call rota as part of the leadership team
* Maintain and strengthen a supportive, positive team culture
The Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in a Registered Care Manager or Deputy Care Manager role
* NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or currently working towards it
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards, compliance, and audits
* Ability to lead and motivate a care team with confidence
* Experience across all aspects of client care and service delivery
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential
* A proactive mindset and the ability to hit the ground running
Performance Based Bonus Structure
