Teaching Personnel are seeking Teaching Assistants to work across primary and secondary schools in the Wareham area, supporting pupils in both mainstream and SEN settings.
We have a variety of day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities available — perfect for those seeking flexibility or looking to secure a more consistent role within a local school community.
You’ll be working alongside teachers to support learning, build pupil confidence, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support pupils in their learning under the guidance of the class teacher.
Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils reach their potential.
Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
Assist in preparing resources and maintaining an organised learning space.
Support pupils with additional or special educational needs where required.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred).
A patient, positive, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work across different schools and year groups.
A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, CACHE, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
