Senior Marketing Manager Key Responsibilities
Strategic Delivery
* Support the delivery of the marketing strategy.
* Translate divisional goals into actionable marketing plans and campaign briefs.
* Deliver tactical marketing activity to engage brokers and support business growth.
* Identify opportunities to add value and consistency within campaigns.
PR and Communications
* Manage trade press activity, including press releases, deal announcements, case studies, and people news.
* Maintain relationships with journalists and media partners to ensure visibility in the specialist lending market.
* Coordinate with PR agencies to deliver accurate and timely communications.
* Source stories and updates from sales, underwriting, and leadership teams.
Content and Social Media
* Develop and manage LinkedIn strategy, including posting, resharing, and amplifying campaigns.
* Draft, edit, and proofread marketing content, including case studies, articles, email campaigns, and sales collateral.
* Ensure content accuracy, tone, and compliance.
* Coordinate with the marketing team on website updates.
* Experience with design tools like Canva desirable.
Events and Sponsorships
* Coordinate participation in national and regional events, exhibitions, awards, and panels.
* Manage logistics, collateral, and branded materials.
* Source and manage merchandise and event supplies.
* Support senior leaders with briefing and preparation.
Agency and Partner Management
* Manage day-to-day relationships with creative, PR, and media agencies.
* Coordinate media planning and advertising schedules, monitoring performance and deadlines.
Budget, Process, and Reporting
* Support budget management, invoicing, and financial tracking.
* Maintain content calendars and campaign trackers.
* Evaluate marketing activity and produce performance summaries with insights and recommendations.
