This is a brand-new role, offering an exciting opportunity to build a production planning process from the ground up. As a Production Planner, you’ll be pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient production operations, working closely with design, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams.What We Offer

Key Responsibilities
* Work with the Operations Director to develop and implement an end-to-end supply chain and production planning process.
* Create, manage, and adjust short and long-term production schedules to meet customer demands.
* Collaborate with design, sales, inventory, and workshop teams to streamline processes, eliminate waste, and improve efficiency.
* Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to maintain workflow.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyse production data, and generate reports for management.
* Ensure all planning decisions comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
Skills/Experience
* Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain coordination within manufacturing, fabrication, or construction.
* Strong organisational and coordination skills – ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-starter mentality – this role requires building a process from scratch, so initiative and problem-solving are essential.
* Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) and Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of project management principles is beneficial.
* Experience in water treatment, construction, or environmental engineering is a plus.
