We are hiring on behalf of specialist schools across York. In this role, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs, helping them fully access the curriculum and thrive in an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
* Help pupils access the curriculum effectively.
* Implement positive behavioural strategies.
* Encourage engagement, independence, and confidence.
* Support inclusion across the classroom and school environment.
* Record and monitor pupil progress for reporting purposes.
