Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of planning and design projects, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish.
* Provide strategic advice to clients on planning matters, offering innovative and tailored solutions.
* Oversee the preparation and submission of planning applications and related documentation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
* Identify business development opportunities, prepare proposals, and contribute to the company's growth.
* Represent the consultancy at meetings, presentations, and public consultations.
* Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
About You
* Degree in Town Planning, with Chartered Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or equivalent.
* At least 8 years of relevant experience in planning and design consultancy.
* A strong understanding of the UK planning system and relevant legislation.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead multidisciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to provide innovative solutions.
* Proficiency in relevant software is desirable but not essential.
