We are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established and growing engineering business within the laser and manufacturing sector. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Operations Manager, this is a key role responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring delivery, quality, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about continuous improvement and team development.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the production facilities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and strong team performance across the shop floor.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Supervising production operations to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets
2. Supporting and guiding Team Leaders to maximise machine and plant uptime
3. Overseeing the activities of the Progress Chaser to ensure smooth workflow
4. Driving high standards of internal and external housekeeping
5. Maintaining discipline and a productive working environment
