Our client is a specialist in innovative downhole technology for the global energy industry. They design and manufacture tools to solve current and emerging challenges for the oil and gas and energy transition sectors, including gas storage, carbon capture and storage, hydrogen storage and geothermal production.
This is an exciting time to join them as they embark on a programme of growth. They are looking for an experienced and hands on Senior Design Engineer to join their expanding team based in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically driven engineer to take a senior role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Job Role:
1. Producing and reviewing engineering drawings to support design, manufacture, assembly, and test activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards
2. Leading design planning, problem-solving, and technical reviews ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with engineering best practices
3. Overseeing design and build programmes, managing resources effectively and driving innovation throughout the development process
4. Supporting workshop teams to provide technical guidance during the manufacture, assembly, and testing stages
