Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
* Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues
* Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, transmissions, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
* Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to carry out repairs and replacements
* Test vehicles post-repair to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
* Keep detailed records of work performed and parts utilised
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during vehicle servicing
* Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in vehicle maintenance or repair
* Qualified to City and Guilds, NVQ or IMI qualified to Level 2 or 3
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Full UK or EU Driving Licence with the ability to drive automatic and manual cars (no more than 3 points on licence and be 21 years or older)
* Own tools (desired)
