We are looking for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join our team at Hamilton Specialist Referrals as a Medicine & Neurology Veterinary Nurse on a full‑time or part‑time basis. Hamilton Specialist Referrals is part of the IVC Evidensia group and offers a 24‑hour, 365‑day service with advanced treatments in orthopaedics, neurology, soft tissue, and internal medicine. We have a dedicated imaging suite with a 16‑slice CT scanner, 1.5 Tesla MRI, fluoroscopy, radiography and ultrasound rooms.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Medicine & Neurology Veterinary Nurse you will deliver advanced nursing care across both services, supporting the case management of complex cases. You’ll work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, contribute specialist nursing expertise to patient care, support clinical decision‑making, and share knowledge to continually improve standards within Medicine and Neurology. Your role will involve a wide range of investigations and procedures, including endoscopy, imaging support (MRI, CT, ultrasound), neurosurgical procedures and advanced diagnostics/sampling.
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
* Registered as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
* Have significant experience in clinical practice, ideally with an interest in medical and neurological cases.
* Have experience working with complex cases in a referral or advanced‑care setting (full training will be provided).
