The Children and Young People\'s East Cheshire Mental Health Team is a multidisciplinary group of experienced clinicians committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic care. We work collaboratively to manage complexity, mitigate risk, and achieve meaningful outcomes through assessments, therapy, family work, group sessions, consultation, and training.

We’re Seeking Enthusiastic Practitioners With

* A recognised qualification in nursing, social work, or allied health professions.
* Experience working with children and young people facing mental health challenges.
* Knowledge of evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or systemic approaches.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* A commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional growth.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

* Enthusiasm and Dedication: A genuine commitment to supporting children and young people’s mental health.
* Clinical Expertise: Experience in conducting mental health assessments, formulating tailored interventions, and addressing the diverse needs of the client group.
* Risk Management: Proven experience supporting children and young people who present with clinical risk due to mental and emotional health needs.
* Resilience Under Pressure: Confidence in managing a fast-paced, dynamic environment with flexibility and adaptability.
* Practicality and Mobility: Access to transport or the ability to travel to various venues as required throughout the working day.

About Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP)

CWP provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire. We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool and Stockport.

Induction and How to Apply

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
