Adecco have an exciting opportunity for a Forklift & Warehouse operator to join our client in Arbroath on a permanent basis. For this role you must have an in-date forklift licence.
Key duties and areas of Responsibility:
To follow safety standards set within the Warehouse Department in order to ensure the safety of yourself, fellow employees, contractors, and customers.
To achieve the agreed standards of product quality and environmental hygiene.
Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping at all times, including clean as you go.
To provide the warehouse and dispatch supervisors with accurate information i.e. shortages, missing paper work etc.
Ensure pallets are stacked to the correct formation, height, and quantity specification.
Ensure pallets are correctly wrapped and banded where necessary for transportation.
Ensure that each order has the correct paperwork as required for transit and delivery.
Ensure that isolated stock is stored in the correct area of the warehouse.
Ensure that stock requests from the shop are fulfilled and paperwork is completed accurately and legibly.
Report any practices or procedures which may be unsafe and have potential to cause injury.
Ensure that when picking export orders that all the required information regarding batches and dates are accurately recorded and the stock is moved into the required mobile export bins.
Ensure, when loading and unloading vehicles that all manifests are checked such that information is correct and that the pallet totals match the order.
When picking gift packing products ensure that all information is recorded correctly on the production sheets in respect of batch and dates.
Ensure that stock take checks at the end of each month are accurate.
Ensure correct and safe working practice when operating forklifts, bailer, and any other machinery.
Ensure that the ERP System is used correctly to pick and dispatch all customers' orders on the required dispatch date.
Ensure that external goods are received via the ERP System, that stock sheets are placed on pallets and stock is moved to relevant locations, ready for picking.
Ensure that stock is replenished from storage locations into picking location and that "Best before end" dates are checked to ensure stock rotation is correct via the ERP system.
